Temporary Staffing

Temp-to-Hire

The temp-to-hire arrangement is often referred to as the “try-before-you-buy” arrangement. This is a popular method of hiring for many employers. This arrangement allows an employer to take advantage of a period in which the employee is considered the employee of the staffing agency and not of the worksite employer (you, the client), allowing employers to enjoy a period of time to observe the employee and his/her work habits. If the employer is happy with the employees’ work, they may then opt to hire them on as a permanent member of their staff at the end of the ninety day period.  **Note, at any time during this 90-day period the employer may opt to ‘buy-out’ any remaining time the employee has yet to complete and hire them on.
